Togori Shinjuku NOWA is a wagyu yakiniku specialist just a one-minute walk from Shinjuku Station’s Southeast Exit. The highlight is Yamagata beef sourced as a whole cow directly from the producing region, which helps keep the meat fresh and lets you explore different cuts in their best condition. As the grill heats up, the fat turns sweet and aromatic, and the lean parts stay satisfyingly beefy. Meals are rounded out with plenty of vegetables—mostly domestic—and carefully selected rice from partner farms. It’s an easy stop after shopping or work when you want something comfortably upscale without feeling formal.
